Our office specializes in auditory evaluations and hearing aid customizations. Our practice was founded to provide help to individuals suffering from or working to prevent hearing loss. Meet Dr. Allison Liberio
At the heart of our practice is a desire to help people. Hearing loss is more than inconvenient — it can cause major disruptions to a patient’s life, wellbeing, and lifestyle. As a premier audiologist, Dr. Allison Liberio specializes in helping patients preserve their existing hearing while developing long-lasting, positive relationships with each individual she cares for.
Prior to founding her practice, Dr. Liberio worked for five years at an ENT practice with some of the best ear, nose, and throat physicians in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Her work with this practice informed the level of care her patients receive today. Dr. Liberio is committed to providing you or your loved ones with the ideal treatment options by partnering with you and your primary care doctor to ensure you receive well-rounded solutions to meet your needs.
Education & Certifications
Dr. Liberio earned both her bachelor’s and doctorate degrees from the University of North Texas in Denton. She holds a membership in the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has previously filled a temporary faculty position, and in the fall semester of 2018 will return to teach a course in Audiology. In addition, Dr. Liberio enjoys giving back to her alma mater with guest lectures and by mentoring university students.
Outside of the office, Dr. Liberio enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their three children. She is an active member of her church and enjoys giving back to the community. Her compassion for others has led her to participate in Oticon’s Think Pink event, where proceeds from hearing aids support the National Breast Cancer Coalition. In addition, each year she participates in the Hear for the Holidays event, which awards one deserving member of our community with a pair of free high-end hearing aids, just in time for the holidays.
Meet Mrs. Sherri-Lynn Wiedermann
A native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Mrs. Sherri-Lynn Wiedermann joined Family Hearing Practice in 2018. She brings over 20 years of hearing healthcare experience to our patients, as well as extensive knowledge of audiology and hearing technologies. Her values regarding customer care and her career experience make her a valuable addition to both our practice and the Flower Mound community.
For many years, Mrs. Wiedermann has practiced alongside top Dallas hearing professionals and has worked with hearing patients across the age spectrum. In the past, she enjoyed a stint working with individuals in the defense sector. She is passionate about helping each patient find the perfect hearing solution. Her personal mantra is to treat each patient as family. Mrs. Wiedermann is passionate about making a difference in each patient’s life and helping them improve their quality of life.
Education & Community Involvement
Mrs. Wiedermann completed her Bachelor of Science in Habilitation of the Hearing Impaired at Texas Christian University in 1990. Following graduation, she completed her Master of Science in Communication Disorders with a Specialization in Audiology at The University of Texas at Dallas-Callier Center for Communication Disorders in Dallas. Mrs. Wiedermann has previously volunteered with the American Diabetes Association as well as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
In her free time, Mrs. Wiedermann is an avid baker and enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. When she is not doing laundry, she is busy renovating her vintage Airstream and planning the next adventure for her family.
